How to choose the right football jersey size?
Choosing the right jersey size means you'll actually enjoy wearing it: not too tight, not too baggy. The catch? Jerseys don't all fit the same depending on the cut, brand and version (player or fan). In this guide we explain how to measure yourself, give you a clear size chart, and share the tip few shops admit: most jerseys run small.
Adult football jersey size chart
Measure your chest (at the widest point, arms down) and check the chart:
| Size | Chest |
|---|---|
| S | 86-94 cm |
| M | 94-102 cm |
| L | 102-110 cm |
| XL | 110-118 cm |
| XXL | 118-126 cm |
The tip to know: jerseys run small
Most football jerseys have a fitted cut and run half a size to a full size smaller than regular clothes. Our advice: if you're between two sizes, size up. If you like it loose, size up. For the "on-pitch" fit, stick to your size.
Player or fan version: does it change the size?
Yes! The player version is tighter (pitch cut), the fan version is more comfortable and slightly roomier.
